Dr. Scuderi is the former Director of Research for Bayer HealthCare, Biological Products Division, and was in charge of the collaboration between Bayer and Avigen for the gene therapy treatment of hemophilia. He was previously the Director of Research for Carver Genetics Inc. and was a Staff Fellow at the National Cancer Institute, and has most recently joined Talecris Biotherapeutics in 2005.
