Tracy Dowling, JD
Tracy Dowling joined AskBio in January 2021 as General Counsel to manage and advise on corporate governance, business development transactions, license agreements, employment law, regulatory matters, risk management and general contract management. Most recently, she served as Associate General Counsel at Spark Therapeutics, a key leadership role providing legal oversight for essential business functions including business development, licensing transactions, corporate governance, securities compliance, real estate and construction. Notably, she played an integral role in Roche’s $4.6 billion acquisition of Spark.
Prior to her time at Spark, she was an attorney at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in Philadelphia. During her tenure, she specialized in corporate and securities matters for private and public companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies across a spectrum of industries. She also spent time as a transactional, corporate and securities attorney at Ballard Spahr LLP and the Monitor Group in roles of increasing responsibility. She holds an undergraduate degree in politics from Princeton University and a JD from Boston University School of Law.
